- 1/2 c. shortening
- 1 c. hot mashed potatoes
- 2 tsp. salt
- 2/3 c. sugar
- 1 pkg. yeast
- 1 pt. warm milk
- 2 beaten eggs
- 6 c. flour
Directions

1Mix yeast in milk.

2Combine all ingredients in mixing bowl. Rub the surface with vegetable oil.

3Leave in warm place until double in bulk, about 3 hours.

4Form into rolls the size of pullet eggs.

5Place in large greased muffin pans.

6Let rise until double. Bake at 450° for 10 minutes.
