- 2 pkg. dry yeast
- 2 tsp. sugar
- 1 stick butter
- 2 tsp. salt
- 2 1/2 c. water (in all)
Directions

1Dissolve yeast in lukewarm water (2 cups).

2Mix butter in flour and add yeast and more water as needed to make a stiff dough. Cover and let rise to double in size.

3Let rise 3 or 4 more times and work down.

4Grease hands and pan.

5Roll out in circles and quarter.

6Fry in deep, smoking hot grease.
