- 1/2 lb. butter
- 2 c. sugar
- 4 egg yolks
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 3 c. cake flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 pt. sour cream
Directions

1Mix all ingredients in order.

2Mix well until well blended. Beat 4 egg whites until stiff.

3Fold into batter.

4Add 1/2 cup chopped nuts, if desired.

5Place in well-greased and floured 9-inch tube pan and bake for approximately 1 hour at 350°.
