Ingredients

  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 c. lukewarm potato water (1/2 c. flakes)
  • 1 pkg. yeast
  • 2 c. bread flour
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. instant potatoes
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1 c. bread flour
  • 1 c. warm water (not too hot)
  • 6 c. Bread Flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 1/2 c. warm water
  • 1/2 c. vegetable oil
  • 1 1/4 c. Starter

Directions

    Mix well and place dough in a large greased bowl.

    Cover with a towel.

    Let stand overnight.

    In the morning, punch down and divide into 3 loaves.

    Knead each loaf 12 times.

    Put into greased loaf pans.

    Let rise 4 to 6 hours.

    Bake at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes.

    Brush with melted butter while hot, if desired.
