  • 1 1/2 c. corn meal
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 1/2 c. Sourdough Starter
  • 1 1/2 tsp. soda
  • 6 Tbsp. melted butter
  • 1 1/2 tsp. sugar
  • 1 1/2 c. milk
  • 1 1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
  • 2 eggs, slightly beaten

Directions

    Combine corn meal, sugar and salt in a mixing bowl.

    Scald milk; pour over corn meal and cool to lukewarm.

    Add remaining ingredients; mix well.

    Pour into buttered 9-inch square pan. Bake in a 425° oven for 40 minutes.
