Sourdough Dip

Ingredients

  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
  • 1 c. sour cream
  • 4 oz. chipped beef or ham, chopped fine
  • 1/4 c. finely chopped green onion
  • dash of Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. chopped green pepper
  • 8-inch round sourdough loaf bread
  • extra bread for dipping

Directions

    Mix all ingredients except bread.

    Slice off top 1/4 of bread and hollow out carefully.

    Make sure there are no weak points. Fill shell with mixture.

    Put bread top back on.

    Wrap in foil and bake at 300° for 1 1/2 hours or at 350° for 1 hour.

    Bread from the top and inside are used as dippers.

    (You will need additional bread.)
