Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 cups water (lukewarm)
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 pkg. yeast
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup sugar

Directions

    Soften yeast in water.

    Mix all ingredients well in bowl.

    Set away in bowl, loosely covered to ferment.

    Takes 24 hours.

    Pour starter in container with lid and keep refrigerated to be used as needed.

    Open and stir each day.
  7. 7
    Every five days feed with Feed ingredients.
  8. 8
    Take out what you want to use, then feed it.

    Make sure you leave at least 1 cup in container.
