- 1 frying chicken, cut up and well washed
- 1 c. milk
- 2 c. flour
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 2 eggs, slightly beaten
- oil
Directions

1Soak the cut up frying chicken in milk for several hours in refrigerator.

2Place flour, salt and pepper in plastic bag.

3Dip chicken in egg and then put in flour mixture.

4Shake in bag until well coated.

5Place chicken on hot oil in a heavy skillet with lid. Turn heat to medium and cover chicken.

6Brown well on each side and cook until well done.

7Serve with mashed potatoes and white gravy.
