Spaghetti And Ground Beef

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
  • 1 can Hunt's tomato paste or sauce
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 1 stick Blue Bonnet margarine
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • box of thin spaghetti
  • 1/2 c. water

Directions

    Pour 1/2 cup of water into skillet; add onion and cook until tender.

    Add ground beef.

    Stir until ground beef is browned. Drain excess grease from skillet.

    Add margarine and stir until melted.

    Add tomato paste or sauce and salt and pepper.

    Simmer for 15 to 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.

    Cook spaghetti per box instructions.

    Rinse spaghetti under cold water to separate spaghetti and put in large bowl.

    Pour ground beef mixture onto spaghetti and mix well.

    Serves 4 to 6. Serve with green beans, buttered potatoes and barbecue bread.
