Spaghetti Casserole

- 1 pkg. spaghetti (7 oz.)
- 1 tsp. butter
- 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
- 1/2 lb. cottage cheese (small curd)
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
- 1/4 c. sour cream
- 2 Tbsp. melted butter
- 1/3 c. chopped scallions or green onions
- 1 tsp. minced or chopped green pepper
Directions

1Cook spaghetti as directed on package.

2Saute beef in butter until brown, then add tomato sauce, salt and pepper.

3Remove from heat.

4Combine cottage cheese, sour cream, scallions and green pepper.

5In square 2-quart casserole, spread 1/2 of spaghetti, then cover with cheese mixture.

6Add remainder of spaghetti and pour melted butter over the top.

7Spread tomato meat sauce over the top. Chill.

8Remove from refrigerator 20 minutes before you intend to bake.

9Then, bake at 350° for 45 minutes.
