- 8 oz. pkg. spaghetti, broken 2-inch pieces
- 1 Tbsp. light margarine
- 1/3 c. Parmesan cheese
- 1 lb. ground beef (96% lean)
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1/4 c. chopped green pepper
- 1 egg, beaten
- 15 oz. spaghetti sauce
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. oregano
- 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
- 1 c. nonfat Ricotta cheese
- 4 oz. shredded nonfat Mozzarella
Directions

1Cook spaghetti; drain.

2Mix in butter, Parmesan cheese and egg.

3Salt and pepper to taste.

4Spread in casserole to form a crust.

5Saute beef, onion and pepper.

6Stir in spaghetti sauce, sugar, oregano and garlic salt.

7Spread Ricotta over spaghetti layer.

8Top with meat sauce mixture.

9Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.

10Sprinkle Mozzarella on top and bake 10 more minutes.
