- 1 lb. lean beef
- 1 medium onion
- 1 medium clove garlic
- 1 tsp. oregano
- 1 can tomatoes
- 1 can tomato paste
- 1 can mushrooms
- 1/4 c. olive oil
- 1 stalk celery
- 1/2 pod sweet pepper
Directions

1Combine all ingredients except mushrooms and tomato paste. Simmer slowly until meat is in shreds.

2Usually takes 3 to 4 hours.

3Add the tomato paste and mushrooms about 1/2 hour before serving.

4Cook spaghetti in salted water and serve with sauce. Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese.
