  • 3/4 c. chopped onion
  • 1/4 tsp. minced garlic, dried
  • 3 Tbsp. salad oil
  • 1 qt. canned tomatoes with juice
  • 1 (12 oz.) can tomato paste
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1 1/2 tsp. oregano (dried)
  • 1 tsp. basil leaves
