- 2 Tablespoons Vegetable Oil
- 1-1/2 cup Basmati Or Long Grain Rice
- 1/2 Spanish Onion, Diced
- 2 cups Diced Tomatoes
- 1 cup Baked Ham, Diced
- 1/2 Green Bell Pepper, Diced
- 1-1/2 cup Chicken Broth
- 1 Tablespoon Cumin
- Sea Salt And Ground Black Pepper To Taste
- Chopped Fresh Basil For Garnish

1Prep ingredients and set aside.

2In a large saucepan, heat oil over medium heat. Add the rice, onions, tomatoes, ham, and peppers, and cook (stirring occasionally) for approximately 5-10 minutes, or until the rice is golden brown. Add the rest of the ingredients to the saucepan and bring to a boil. Once boiling, reduce the heat and let everything simmer for approximately 30 minutes (again, stirring occasionally) until the rice is tender.
