- 2 tbsp oil
- 1/4 tbsp onion powder
- 1 1/2 cup rice
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 2 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup plain tomato sauce
- 4 tbsp finely chopped parsley
- 4 tbsp finely chopped parsley
Directions

1In a medium sauce pan, heat oil over medium heat.

2Add dry rice and cook for about 5 minutes or until rice becomes a golden brown color.

3Add onion and garlic powder and cook for a couple more minutes

4Add in broth and tomato sauce (slowly as to avoid sizzling) and parsley (if using).

5Stir and bring to boil.

6Once boiling, reduce heat to a simmer for 20-25 minutes, and fluff with fork.
