- 3 lb. spareribs
- shoyu
- 1 can pineapple chunks
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1 c. white sugar
- 1 1/4 c. cider vinegar
- 2 to 3 slices ginger
- salt to taste
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
Directions

1Marinate ribs in shoyu; brown ribs in oil.

2Afterwards, drain off some oil; add ginger, salt, vinegar, sugar and pineapple syrup only.

3Simmer 20 to 25 minutes, stirring occasionally.

4Thicken with cornstarch; garnish with pineapple.
