- 2.5 cups water
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh ginger (not necessary to peel)
- 3 whole cardamom seeds
- 2 whole cinnamon sticks
- 4 tea bags or 4 tsp loose black tea
- 2 cups milk
- 1/4 cup sugar
Directions

1In a large covered pot, bring water, ginger, cardamom, cinnamon, and tea to a boil.

2Uncover and let simmer for 10-15 min.

3Add milk and sugar and return to a boil.

4Let simmer for 5 min.

5Strain and serve.
