- 1 c. white sugar
- 5 Tbsp. canned milk
- 1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 3 c. pecan halves
Directions

1Mix all the ingredients, except nuts, in a saucepan and bring to a boil for 3 to 5 minutes or until the mixture forms a soft ball in cold water.

2Take off of stove and stir in the pecan halves.

3Keep stirring until all the syrup sticks to the nuts. Pour the nuts out onto a brown paper bag, separate, and let them cool.
