- 2 qt. cider
- 12 whole cloves
- 4 sticks cinnamon
- rind of 4 lemons
- 2 lemons, peeled and thinly sliced
- 1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
Directions

1Combine cider, cloves, cinnamon sticks, thinly peeled rind of 4 lemons, 2 lemons, peeled and thinly sliced, and the nutmeg.

2Cover and heat to boiling.

3Reduce heat and simmer for about 15 minutes. Allow to cool; then strain.

4Discard spices.

5Chill overnight in refrigerator to allow flavors to blend.

6Heat when ready to serve. Yields 8 to 10 servings.
