Ingredients
- 1 pkg. (10 oz.) frozen chopped spinach, thawed and drained
- 1 c. sour cream
- 1 c. Hellmann's mayonnaise
- 1 box Knorr dry vegetable soup mix
- 1/4 c. finely chopped onion
- 1 small can water chestnuts, finely chopped (optoinal)
- 1 large round loaf Hawaiian bread or sourdough bread
Directions

1Place spinach, soup mix, onion and water chestnuts in food processor bowl fitted with metal blade, cover.

2Process until spinach is finely chopped.

3Remove mixture from food processor and place in a medium bowl.

4Stir in mayonnaise and sour cream.

5Cover and chill overnight.

6To serve, cut off top of bread.

7Remove bite size pieces of bread from inside of loaf, leaving about a 1/2-inch shell.

8Tear top into bite size pieces.

9Fill bread shell with spinach mixture.

10Place on a round serving plate and surround with bite size bread pieces for dipping.
