- 1 lb. Ricotta
- 1 1/2 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese, divided into 1/2 c. and 1 c. portions
- 1 beaten egg
- 1 pkg. frozen chopped spinach, thawed
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 3/4 tsp. oregano
- 1 lb. ground beef
- chopped onion
- 1 qt. spaghetti sauce
- 1 c. water
- 1 (2 lb.) pkg. lasagne noodles (uncooked)
Directions

1Mix the beaten egg, spinach, salt, pepper and oregano.

2Brown the beef with the onion.

3Add the spaghetti sauce; cook about 5 minutes.

4Mix the Ricotta, Mozzarella, egg, spinach and seasonings.

5In a greased 9 x 13-inch baking dish, put 1/2 cup sauce, 1/3 of uncooked noodles and 1/3 cheese mixture.

6Make 2 more layers with cheese mixture on top.

7Push away from sides of dish; pour water around edges.

8Cover tightly with foil.

9Bake at 350° for 1 hour.

10Let stand 15 minutes before serving.
