- 2 pkg. frozen spinach
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1/2 c. evaporated milk
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
- 6 oz. roll jalapeno cheese
- 4 Tbsp. butter
- 2 Tbsp. finely chopped onion
- 1/2 c. spinach liquid
- 1/2 tsp. celery salt
- 1 tsp. Worcestershire
Directions

1Cook spinach according to directions.

2Drain, reserving 1/2 cup liquid.

3Melt butter in saucepan over low heat.

4Add flour, stirring until well blended, but not brown.

5Add onion, cooking only until soft.

6Stir in liquid slowly, stirring until smooth. Cook until thick; continue stirring.

7Add seasonings and cheese (which has been cut into cubes) and milk, stirring until cheese melts.

8Combine with cooked spinach; pour into buttered casserole dish and top with buttered bread crumbs.

9Refrigerate overnight before cooking.

10For a spicier dish, add a dash of red pepper. This casserole freezes very well.
