Spinach Pie

Ingredients

  • 1 cup spinach
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 1 1/2 cup shredded cheese
  • 3 slice bacon/turkey bacon
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 1/4 cup flour
  • 8 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 4 tbsp water

Directions

    Combine flour, sugar and salt in mixing bowl.

    Mix in butter as well as you can with the flour
  3. 3
    Add water.

    Mix until until it becomes like dough, you might need to add a little more water to make it more smooth or add more flour if it is too runny.

    Roll into ball and roll out with a pin.

    Line a round glass baking dish with the crust.

    Preheat the oven to 375F

    In a bowl, combine eggs, milk, salt, pepper
  9. 9
    Crumble cooked bacon into egg mixture.

    Line the bottom of the pie crust with a layer of shredded cheese.

    Add some of the spinach on top of the cheese.

    Continue with cheese/spinach layer until you are done (Leave some cheese for the top!)

    Pour egg mixture over the top.

    Sprinkle remainder of cheese and pop in the oven!

    Bake for 45 minutes or until fork slides out with no residue.
