Spinach Salad

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. fresh spinach
  • 8 oz. fresh bean sprouts
  • 1 (5 to 6 oz.) can sliced water chestnuts
  • 5 slices bacon, fried and crumbled
  • 2/3 c. salad oil
  • 1/3 c. sugar
  • 1/3 c. catsup
  • 1/3 c. finely chopped onion
  • 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions

    In a large bowl, combine spinach, sprouts and water chestnuts. Add bacon, cover and refrigerate.

    In a jar, combine oil, sugar, vinegar, catsup, onion and Worcestershire sauce.

    Shake or stir to blend.

    Cover and chill.
