  • 1/2 lb. bacon, fried crisp and crumbled
  • 1 c. sour cream
  • 3 eggs, separated
  • 2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
  • 1/8 tsp. black pepper
  • 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen chopped spinach, thawed and squeezed dry
  • 1/2 c. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 c. dry bread crumbs
  • 1 Tbsp. margarine or butter, melted

    Preheat oven to 375°.

    Spray 9-inch deep-dish pie plate with nonstick cooking spray.

    Combine sour cream, egg yolks, flour and black pepper in large bowl.

    Beat egg whites in medium bowl with electric mixer at high speed until stiff peaks form.

    Stir one-fourth of egg whites into sour cream mixture; fold in remaining egg whites.
