- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 pinch salt
Directions

1Preheat the oven to 250C Celsius.

2Beat the vegetable oil with the granulated sugar for 30 seconds.

3Add the eggs and beat the mixture for 4 - 5 minutes.

4Add the baking powder, the vanilla extract, and the pinch of salt.

5Beat for a few seconds.

6Add the all-purpose flour gradually, beating the mixture after every addition.

7If the mixture is too thick, add some milk to it.

8Oil the baking pan and sprinkle it with flour to prevent the cake from sticking.

9Pour the mixture into the baking pan then put it in the oven for 15 - 20 minutes.

10Check the cake using a toothpick.

11It should come out dry and clean.
