  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch salt

    Preheat the oven to 250C Celsius.

    Beat the vegetable oil with the granulated sugar for 30 seconds.

    Add the eggs and beat the mixture for 4 - 5 minutes.

    Add the baking powder, the vanilla extract, and the pinch of salt.

    Beat for a few seconds.

    Add the all-purpose flour gradually, beating the mixture after every addition.

    If the mixture is too thick, add some milk to it.

    Oil the baking pan and sprinkle it with flour to prevent the cake from sticking.

    Pour the mixture into the baking pan then put it in the oven for 15 - 20 minutes.
