- 180 grams Unsalted butter (room temperature)
- 180 grams Granulated sugar
- 1/2 tsp Vanilla essence
- 3 Eggs
- 180 grams White flour
- 1 tsp Baking powder
Directions

1Bring the unsalted butter to room temperature.

2Whisk together the butter, sugar, and vanilla essence.

3Mix in the eggs one at a time.

4Finally, add the flour and baking powder and mix until thickened.

5Lightly oil the pan, then dust with flour (not listed).

6Doing this makes it easier to remove after baking.

7Put the dough into the pan and smooth the top.

8Rap against the counter 2-3 times to get rid of any air pockets.

9Bake at 175C (350F) for 18 - 20 minutes.
