- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. dark syrup
- 1 Tbsp. white vinegar
- 1 Tbsp. baking soda
Directions

1Combine first 3 ingredients in large kettle.

2Cook, stirring while sugar melts.

3Cook until 300° on candy thermometer or very brittle in cold water.

4Remove from heat and add baking soda. Stir gently.

5Pour quickly in 9 x 13-inch buttered pan.

6Cool completely and break in pieces.

7Dip pieces in melted chocolate and set on wax paper to cool.

8This candy tastes just like candy at Christmas called angel candy.
