- 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1 c. molasses
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp. ginger
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 2 c. flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 c. boiling water
Directions

1Cream butter and sugar.

2Add molasses and egg.

3Sift together ginger, cinnamon and flour.

4Blend into molasses mixture. Dissolve soda in boiling water.

5Add to mixture; batter will be runny.

6Bake in greased pan at 325° for 20 to 30 minutes.
