  • 1 c. yellow corn meal
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 4 eggs, beaten
  • 2 c. boiling water
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 c. sweet milk

Directions

    Stir corn meal into boiling water for 1 minute; remove from heat.

    Add butter; beat well.

    Add beaten eggs; beat well.

    Beat in milk and mix all ingredients together thoroughly.

    Pour into hot buttered 3-quart Pyrex dish and bake, uncovered, in a preheated 400° oven for about 40 minutes.
