- 1/4 c. sugar
- 4 c. self-rising flour
- 3/4 c. melted shortening
- 1 egg
Directions

1First mix yeast and water in large bowl until dissolved; set aside.

2Second mix remaining ingredients together.

3Blend the yeast mixture into these remaining ingredients.

4Place by spoonfuls into greased muffin pan.

5Bake at 450° for 20 minutes or until golden brown.

6Batter will keep 1 week in refrigerator.
