- 3 medium yellow squash
- 1 small sliced onion
- 1/4 c. water
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 slice white bread, cubed
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1/2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
Directions

1Wash squash and cut into 1/4-inch slices.

2Place in medium frypan with onion, water and salt; cover.

3Cook 10 to 12 minutes or until tender, stirring occasionally.

4In another pan, saute bread cubes in butter until toasty.

5Spoon squash and onions into bowl. Sprinkle with grated cheese and toasted bread cubes.
