Squash Casserole

Ingredients

  • 2 lb. squash
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 c. margarine, melted
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 (8 oz.) container sour cream
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. Pepperidge Farm dressing mix

Directions

    Cook squash and onion until tender.

    Drain and season with salt, pepper and 1 tablespoon of margarine.

    Stir in chicken soup and sour cream.

    In a bowl, combine 1/2 cup margarine and dressing mix, stirring until well blended.

    Combine one half of dressing mix with squash mixture.

    Spoon into casserole dish and top with remaining dressing mix.

    Bake at 375° for 30 minutes.
