- 2 lb. squash
- 2 eggs
- 1 large chopped onion
- 1/2 c. canned milk
- 3 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 3 shakes red pepper
- 1 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1 c. round butter crackers
- 3 Tbsp. butter
Directions

1Add butter to crackers.

2Cook squash until tender; drain and mash.

3Beat eggs; add to squash.

4Add milk, sugar, salt, butter and onion; mix well in 2-quart casserole.

5Bake at 350° for 35 minutes.

6Add crackers and cheese the last 10 minutes.
