- 5 large yellow squash
- 2 Tbsp. melted butter
- 1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1/2 c. chopped celery
- 5 to 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1 (2 oz.) jar pimento
- 1 Tbsp. chopped green chili
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. garlic salt
- 1 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 c. soft bread crumbs
- 1 Tbsp. melted butter
Directions

1Boil squash, mash and drain well.

2Add next 10 ingredients and mix.

3Pour into buttered 2-quart dish.

4Top with bread crumbs (or crackers), drizzle with butter.

5Bake at 350° for 20 minutes.
