- 6 medium to large squash, sliced
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 egg, well beaten
- 1/2 c. milk
- 1 c. grated cheese
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1/4 c. finely chopped onion
- 1/4 c. chopped green peppers
- 8 saltine crackers, crushed
Directions

1Boil squash until tender.

2Drain.

3Combine all ingredients except a small amount of cheese and crackers.

4Pour into casserole dish.

5Sprinkle with reserved cheese and crackers.

6Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 30 minutes or until slightly brown on top.
