Squash Casserole

Ingredients

  • 1 c. butter or margarine
  • 12 oz. pkg. herb dressing mix
  • 3 c. sliced, cooked squash, drained
  • 1 (10 1/2 oz.) can cream of mushroom or chicken soup
  • 1 c. sour cream
  • 1 large onion, grated
  • 3 large carrots, grated
  • 1/2 tsp. black pepper

Directions

    Melt butter and toss with dressing mix.

    Mix half of dressing mixture with squash, soup, sour cream, onions, carrots and pepper. Turn mixture into lightly greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish and spread evenly.

    Sprinkle remaining dressing.

    Mix over all. Bake in preheated 350° oven for 45 to 55 minutes.
