Squash Casserole

Ingredients

  • 2 lb. squash
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 can Cheddar cheese soup
  • 2 c. cornbread crumbs
  • 1 stick margarine

Directions

    Cook squash and drain.

    Melt 1/2 stick margarine in dish. Reserve 1/2 cup crumbs with the rest of margarine to sprinkle over the top of casserole.

    Mix all other ingredients in dish with margarine.

    Bake at 400° for 30 minutes.
