- 2 to 3 c. yellow squash
- 1 large onion, diced
- 2 c. crumbled corn bread
- 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 tsp. poultry seasoning
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions

1Cook squash and onion in enough water for simmering (about 1 1/2 cups) until tender.

2Drain, reserving 1 cup liquid.

3Return 1 cup liquid to squash.

4Mix all ingredients.

5Place in 2-quart buttered casserole dish.

6Bake at 350° for 30 minutes or until light golden brown.

7Yield: 6 to 8 servings.
