- 2 to 3 c. yellow squash, cubed (crookneck variety)
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 c. crumbled corn bread
- 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine, melted
- 1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of chicken soup, undiluted
- 1 tsp. poultry seasoning (marjoram, thyme and sage)
- salt to taste
- pepper to taste
Directions

1Cook squash and onion in enough water for simmering, about 1 1/2 cups until tender.

2Drain, reserving 1 cup liquid.

3Mix all ingredients lightly; place in 2-quart buttered casserole dish. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes or until light golden brown.

4Yields 6 to 8 servings.
