  • 2 c. grated, raw squash
  • 1/4 tsp. grated onion
  • dash of pepper
  • 2 tsp. sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 6 to 8 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 beaten egg
  • 2 tsp. melted margarine
  • dash of baking powder

Directions

    Combine in mixing bowl the squash, onion, pepper, sugar, salt and flour.

    Add and mix the egg, margarine and baking powder. Drop by tablespoon onto well oiled hot griddle.

    Brown well on one side.

    Turn and brown well on other.
  5. 5
    Serve at once.
