- 1 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 3/4 c. milk
- 1 egg
- 1/4 c. vegetable oil
- 3 c. grated yellow squash
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 to 3 tsp. crushed red pepper
Directions

1Combine flour, sugar, salt, milk, egg and oil.

2Beat with an electric mixer until smooth.

3Add squash, onion and red pepper and stir well.

4Drop mixture by tablespoonfuls into a hot, greased skillet.

5Cook until golden brown, turning once.

6Drain on paper towels.
