  • 4 to 6 steaks (small ones)
  • oil or Crisco
  • 1 to 2 onions, sliced
  • 1 can mushrooms
  • 2 cans cream of mushroom soup (undiluted)

Directions

    Brown steaks on both sides in hot oil or Crisco.

    Place in baking dish. Slide 1 or 2 onions on top of steaks.

    Place mushrooms on top of onions.

    Pour cream of mushroom soup over top. Cover with foil.

    Bake at 350° until tender.
