- 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, shredded
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 cup water
- 34 lb string bean, cut in 1-inch lengths

1In a wok, cook bacon until crisp and set aside.

5Cover and simmer over low heat until liquid is reduced and beans are tender, about 30 minutes.
