- 2 c. chopped onions
- 2 c. bell peppers
- 14 oz. can whole or 4 c. fresh tomatoes
- 2 to 3 Tbsp. flour
- 1/2 c. milk or water
- 1/2 tsp. sugar
- 1 c. bread crumbs
Directions

1Cook onions and peppers until done.

2Add tomatoes (if using fresh, quarter and boil in just enough water to cover for approximately 10 minutes).

3Add flour slowly, stirring constantly, until thick (you may need to add a little more flour if using fresh tomatoes).

4Add milk or water gradually until desired consistency.

5Add a little sugar to desired taste.

6Pour into dish; cover with bread crumbs.

7Bake in 350° oven if desired.
