  • 1 cup cream cheese
  • 3/4 cup stilton cheese
  • 2 tablespoons double cream
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley finely chopped

Directions

    Beat the cream cheese until it is soft and smooth, then stir in the Stilton cheese crumbles straight from the fridge

    Slowly blend in the cream, lemon juice, parsley, and if desired 3 drops of Worcester sauce (optional).

    Place in a pate dish or in individual dishes, and either serve immediately or chill for 30 minutes. Garnish with lemon slices if desired.

    Optional: melt some butter and add some red peppercorns, pour over stilton pate and garnish with a bay leaf.
