  • 1 1/2 lb. meat (about 1/4 inch thick)
  • 2 Tbsp. soy sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. oil
  • 2 tsp. sugar (Equal may be used)
  • 2 tsp. cornstarch
  • 1/2 tsp. hot pepper sauce
  • 2 medium size celery stalks
  • 1 large carrot
  • 1 green pepper
  • 2 Tbsp. salad oil

Directions

    Cut meat into small strips.

    In bowl, toss meat with the soy sauce, oil, sugar, cornstarch and hot pepper sauce.

    Cut celery, carrot and green pepper into matchstick thin strips.

    In a 12-inch skillet over high heat in very hot oil, cook vegetables, stirring frequently until tender-crisp.

    Remove vegetables to a bowl.

    In drippings in skillet, cook the meat, stirring quickly and constantly.

    Return vegetables and mix well.

    Serve over rice.
