  • 16 ounces, weight Strawberries, Preferably Fresh, Hulled, Sliced
  • 1 cup Granulated Sugar (or Sugar Substitute)
  • 3 cups Cold Water
  • Ice Cubes

Directions

    In a food processor (or blender), add sliced strawberries and pulse several times. Run several minutes until smooth, then transfer into a medium size saucepan over low heat. Add sugar and stir to create a syrup and break down strawberries. Cook 6-8 minutes then remove from heat.

    Place a fine mesh sieve over a bowl and slowly pour in strawberry syrup, stirring a few times until all the liquid is in the bowl. Add cold water to a pitcher or jug, then strained strawberry syrup, and stir well. Cover with a lid or plastic wrap and refrigerate several hours.

    When ready to serve, fill glasses with ice cubes, pour and enjoy! Delicious!
