  • 1 pie shell, baked
  • 1 c. water
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1 qt. strawberries
  • red food coloring
  • 3 oz. box strawberry jello

Directions

    Cook together water, sugar, salt and cornstarch, stirring until thick and clear.

    Remove from heat.

    Add jello and 2 to 3 drops of red food coloring. Cool.

    Pour over 1 quart strawberries in pie shell.

    Refrigerate.

    Can top with Cool Whip.
