  • 1 c. water
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 3 Tbsp. lemon jello
  • few drops red food coloring
  • 1 pt. fresh strawberries
  • whipped cream or Cool Whip

Directions

    Cook water, sugar and cornstarch until thick, stirring constantly.

    Remove from stove and add jello and red food coloring. Allow mixture to cool, then add strawberries.

    Pour into baked pie crust.

    Refrigerate for several hours.
  5. 5
    Top with whipped cream or Cool Whip before serving.
